Laura grew up in Beloit and graduated from West Branch High School. She earned her B.A. in Neuroscience from Agnes Scott College, and then earned her M.S. and PhD in Engineering Psychology from Georgia Tech.

Laura returned home and has been serving on the Beloit Village council since 2020. She has served on the parks, finance, and safety committees, and currently chairs the grants committee. Additionally, her record of public service includes five years as the ILS administrator at the Public Library of Youngstown & Mahoning County.

Now Laura is working to take her service to the next level by representing YOU in Columbus!
